The Councilor for Social Rights and Development Cooperation of the City of Murcia, Conchita Ruiz, explained this afternoon that "the relevant actions are being developed aimed at paying the salaries that the company Ayuda a Domicilio SAL, currently, in bankruptcy creditors, owed to their workers, who provided the Home Help service of this City Council ".
In relation to the protest that has taken place today in the Glorieta de España, she has expressed that "we understand the discomfort of the workers, but the position of the government team has always been the same, that of respecting their demands and working for the resolution of the situation. "
In this sense, the Governing Board of last week already adopted the first agreement to make effective the payment to 46 workers for the amount of 44,000 euros, in concept of the extra summer pay based on the joint and several liability attributed by the labor legislation, the Statute of Workers, the City of Murcia.
