The UCAM and Editorial Medica Panamericana have signed a collaboration agreement this morning to promote online training among professionals in the field of health.
The agreement, signed by José Luis Mendoza, president of the UCAM, and Hugo Brik, president of the company, aims to encourage further training, through postgraduate studies.
From the company, dedicated to the publication of medical books and now also to online training, it is pointed out that they are courses oriented to a professional profile, and that all of them are exclusively online except for a minority that has a practical presence module, basically those related to surgery.
Jerónimo Lajara, dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the UCAM, stressed during the signing that "it is a very positive agreement for the UCAM because it allows us to have a very experienced platform in online courses that has a wide trajectory in medical training in all Spanish-speaking countries, and many scientific societies will channel their courses with the UCAM through this training platform, starting with the Spanish Society of Pneumology and Cardiology, with training courses in this field but they will be extended to all the disciplines of Health Sciences ".
During the signing, both presidents have been accompanied by José Luis Mendoza García, Director of Institutional Relations of the UCAM;
Jerónimo Lajara, dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences;
Paloma Echevarría Pérez, dean of the Faculty of Nursing;
Juan Martínez Fuentes, vice-dean of the Degree in Physiotherapy;
as well as representatives of Editorial Médico Panamericana.
