The spokesman for Citizens, Mario Gomez, will present Wednesday at the Local Council of Commerce actions for the commercial and economic revitalization of the neighborhoods affected by the High Speed ​​works, "development and activation actions that are already being carried out in other cities of Spain ".
In addition to the subsidies that will be launched for the businesses affected by the burial, Gomez will demand that "the necessary projects be carried out to attend the aid that, soon, the CARM will publish;
and that are oriented, precisely, to launch several lines of action ".
Lines of action
Among them, the orange spokesman will put on the table that is working on the presentation of a project for the implementation of what could be an Open Shopping Center in the area;
rehabilitation and modernization of the buildings and facilities of the supply markets, as well as the adaptation and improvement of the venues where the weekly markets for street and non-sedentary sales take place on public land, providing them with basic infrastructures such as electricity, water, parking, cleaning and waste treatment.
These lines of action and aid, Gómez explained, along with those that, in the short term, the Consistory considers as compensation for the damages of the burial works, could be reconciled, which would increase the investment in the area to reduce the consequences of the works and integrate once and for all the southern area of ​​Murcia to the core of the city.

"We hope that this initiative is valued in the Council if what we want is to start investing in Murcia and its neighbors in an orderly manner and with a clear objective, leaving behind the patches and improvisations as the PP has become accustomed", he pointed out. Cs spokesman, who has once again insisted on the "need to change the way of thinking short-term and bet on ambitious actions that generate added value and offer solutions for the future."
