The Councilor for Finance, Contracting and Urban Mobility, Eduardo Martínez-Oliva, explained that 'despite not being municipal competition, the City Council is involved in the search for an agreement' from the moment the concessionaire announced its intention to suppress or reorganize frequencies in several transport lines.
"It can not be otherwise because it affects Murcia's neighbors, which is why we care and we are concerned about getting it resolved as soon as possible," added Martínez-Oliva.
The owner of Urban Mobility explained that he is in talks with the Autonomous Community and with the company, 'in an attitude of mediation.
They are negotiating and approaching positions to solve the differences in the best way possible, but undoubtedly the point of view of the City Council is that the lines have to follow.
In any case, the councilman was confident that a satisfactory solution is reached as soon as possible.
