Thirteen professors of the University of Murcia have taken possession of their positions as holders or professors at an event held this Monday, March 12, in the Convalecencia, headquarters of the Rectorate.
In total eight professors and five professors have taken possession.
The rector, José Orihuela, has presided over the act attended by numerous relatives and staff of the University.
Once the inauguration is over, the rector has addressed a few words to the teachers whom he has wished "the best of luck" in the new stage they are now beginning and has given them a mandate: "Investigate and locate the University of Murcia at the highest level ".
Orihuela has said he was "very happy" to be able to hold acts of inauguration of professors like today who were paralyzed four years ago by the economic situation of the University and the replacement rate.
The professors who have taken up their positions are:
- María Isabel Tejeda Martín, Full Professor of the University in the area of ​​knowledge "Sculpture".
- María Mercedes Jiménez Atienzar, University Professor in the area of ​​knowledge "Biochemistry and Molecular Biology".
- María Gómez Gómez, Associate Professor of the University in the area of ​​knowledge "Chemical Engineering".
- Julio Otal Salaverri, Titular Professor of the University in the area of ​​knowledge "Animal Production".
- María Carmen Ramírez de la Fe, Associate Professor of the University in the area of ​​knowledge "Social Psychology".
- Nuria Ureña Ortín, Titular Professor of the University in the area of ​​knowledge "Didactics of Body Expression".
- Antonio Aznar Mínguez, Full Professor of the University in the area of ​​knowledge "Painting".
- Jesús Joaquín García Molina, University Professor in the area of ​​knowledge "Computer Languages ​​and Systems".
- María Mercedes Navarro Egea, University Professor in the area of ​​knowledge "Financial and Tax Law".
- María Fuensanta Máximo Martín, University Professor in the area of ​​knowledge "Chemical Engineering".
- Juana Mercedes Cabanes Cos, University Professor in the area of ​​knowledge "Biochemistry and Molecular Biology".
- Aurora Alcaide Ramírez, Professor of the University in the area of ​​knowledge "Painting".
