More than 50,000 people have attended this weekend to the environment of more than 110,000 m 2 , which includes the José Barnés Sports Center, the Mar Menor Pool, the Fofó Auditorium and Park, the Cagigal Pavilions, Santa María de Gracia and the Prince of Asturias and the sports courts of La Vega and the Murcia Tennis Club, where they were able to participate in the third edition of the Sports Festival.
This initiative, promoted by the Union of Sports Federations of the region, continues to be a mainly family event in which participants have been able to enjoy exhibitions, workshops and activities in a sporty and recreational environment.
This year the Sport Festival has gathered more than 88 disciplines in the neighborhood of Santa María de Gracia, unlike the 60 that could be practiced in the previous edition.
It has been possible to practice from boxing, tennis, swimming and motorsport, to handball, chess and paddle.
The novelties of this year have been protagonists with the games to e-sports in the Prince of Asturias pavilion, where the master class of Personal Defense for women has also been held, and the exhibition of piloting of Drones in the Fofó Park.
On Sunday the activities and exhibitions continued, where visitors have been able to practice sports such as fencing, beach volleyball, skateboarding and badminton, among others.
They also made several exhibitions, both sporting as artistic skating, and educational as the raptor made by Terra Natura.
In addition, the youngest could enjoy the children's show 'Sonrrilandia' in the Parque Fofó Auditorium.
