The Councilor for Social Rights and Development Cooperation of the City of Murcia, Conchita Ruiz, visited the IES Aljada this morning to attend the closing of the workshop "Love makes us feel good" and the inauguration of a great protest mural in favor of the Equality between men and women.

Specialty in automotive have been able to debate during the training on inequalities between men and women in our society: Gap, glass ceiling, street harassment, gender violence, toxic relationships or love.
In addition, during the last sessions of the course, efforts have been devoted to the realization of graffiti with phrases in the form of slogans that include those issues addressed in the workshop.
Love Feels Good
We must remember that the project 'Love We Feel Good' is being developed in a total of 12 Secondary Education Centers of the municipality, with a total of 80 workshops aimed at the 3rd and 4th ESO courses, with 2,000 students and target students of this training that is a fundamental complement to the training they receive at their school, since it is taught in the tutoring schedule by specialized professionals.
The training that adolescents receive is given by professionals from the fields of education and social sciences, specialists in gender equality and prevention of sexist violence.
Each workshop consists of 10 sessions that are developed through classroom dynamics and the projection of films and videos as well as practical theoretical expositions, combined with group dynamics techniques that promote participation.
The methodology used aims to encourage reflection, knowledge and critical thinking, alternating explanatory or theoretical parts with dynamics that facilitate the participation of students, as well as individual work as a group, either from the whole class or dividing the participants in small groups.
