Nine companies have presented bids in the tender called to award the maintenance service of public lighting and low and medium voltage installations of municipal ownership, which will invest a maximum of 17,296,973 euros for a period of three years, extendable by another three years.
The Contracting Committee, assembled this morning, chaired by Councilman Eduardo Martínez-Oliva, has verified the administrative documentation and opened the technical proposals presented by the nine companies that have attended:
- Electromur
- ETRALUX
- UTE Elecor + Vectoris + Industrias Eléctricas Brocal SA
- NITLUX
- IMESAPI
- Ferrovial Servicios SA and Alterna Tecnologías SL
- UTE FCC Industrial e Infraestructuras Energéticas SA + Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas SA
- CITELUM Ibérica
- Sociedad Iberica de Construcciones Eléctricas SICE
The new contract includes new features that the current one did not foresee, such as the electrical maintenance of buildings and municipal buildings and public schools and the measures to increase energy efficiency, replacing existing points with others of LED technology, and reducing light pollution.
It also requires greater specialization in the maintenance of ornamental lighting, which requires a specialist in programming of lighting scenes, such as those offered by the building attached to the City Council, and in temporary facilities for events.
The awardee will have to maintain the electrical installations of public lighting, municipal premises, public schools, municipal transformation centers, and eventual activities promoted or sponsored by the City of Murcia.
Likewise, it will be in charge of maintaining public lighting of roads, pedestrian zones and gardens, carrying out inspections both day and night, conserving facilities, lighting, lines, supports and civil works, repairing faults, damages or breakages, fixing the damages suffered by the installations due to theft, vandalism, force majeure or catastrophes beyond the facilities, cleaning and control of on and off, among other actions.
In addition, permanent services will be established to attend to incidents throughout the 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
