The 5.5-kilometer route will show the history of this important environment of Muslim Murcia.

The Councilor for Urban Planning, Environment, Water and Vegetable Garden, Antonio Navarro, together with Francisco Viudes, pedano mayor of Cabezo de Torres, has presented the route 'Protective guardians of the garden' with which the infrastructures of the complex will be made known hydrological-archaeological of Cabezo de Torres and Monteagudo to school groups, cultural centers and individuals interested individually.
This free activity will cover a journey of 5.5 kilometers, in which, previously, an introductory talk will be held for the participants about the changes that have occurred in the area with the creation of irrigation structures that were so important in Murcia Muslim
Throughout this itinerary the different architectural manifestations of the Historic Site of Monteagudo-Cabezo de Torres that extends from west to east, at a distance of 1.5 kilometers, will be shown.
This set includes the monuments of the Castle of Monteagudo, the Castillejo and the Castle of Larache, of Cabezo de Torres.
In addition, you can visit the Mill of the Armero, the Almazara and the Pool of Larache, the Albercón del Castillejo and its ditches.
Other spaces that are also included in this tour are the Palacio del Rey Lobo, the Azarbe Alto Campuzano and the Virgen de las Lágrimas.
This activity will take place in March on the 17th and 18th;
in April on days 14, 15 and 22;
and on May 5 in groups of up to 40 people, starting at 9:30 am.
