The Contracting Committee, meeting today with the presidency of Eduardo Martínez-Oliva, has resolved, among other matters, the proposal for the award of the works project of the Alameda del Malecón to the UTE formed by ENEAS Servicios Integrales SA-Sánchez and Lago SL , with a budget of 527,876 euros, VAT excluded.
This new urban green infrastructure belongs to the Murcia River project and is located on a municipally owned plot located between Gaspar de la Peña street and the Segura river, with an area of ​​20,000 m2.
Its construction, which has an expected completion time of 8 months, will allow a visual communication and pedestrian traffic between the Paseo del Malecón and the river, while promoting the restoration of the landscape of the place and the recovery of the mall on the shore.
The designed project also contemplates the use of the irrigation ditch of the Arboleja, which runs through the plot, for irrigation of the various terraces where plantations will be carried out.
The award proposal occurs coinciding with the approval of the riverwalk project that will allow the recovery of the pedestrian route along the left bank of the river that connects the Manterola footbridge area with this Alameda del Malecón, on the other side of the highway.
