The Councilor for Modernization of Administration and Urban Development, José Guillén, chaired this morning the Occupational Health and Safety Committee, which has been attended by representatives of different municipal services such as Personnel, Civil Protection, Environment, Local Police and Fire Extinguishing Service. fires and Salvage among others, in addition to the unions SIME, SPLRM-ATABAM, CCOO, SOMOS and CSIF.
At the meeting, the Manual of Good Practices for the Prevention of Workplace Harassment and the protocols for action and Protection on Motherhood, which will start at the Local Police Service, have been approved.
The text of the Manual of Good Practices for the Prevention of Workplace Harassment, which will now have to be approved by the Governing Board, includes various aspects such as the scope of action, the behaviors that are considered harassment at work, the procedures for action and what needs to be done in case of suffering harassment, among others.
On the other hand, and to protect pregnant women, a certain number of places whose service does not entail any risk will be reserved for those Local Police officers who will be mothers, in order to prevent any occupational risk.
