The members of the university community of the UMU, who are called to vote tomorrow, March 6, for the election of rector and the renovation of the Cloister, total 37,444, according to the census approved in his day.
The majority group consists of students, who total almost 34,300, followed by the two groups where the teaching and research staff and fellows are integrated, with 3,150, and the Administration and Services Staff (PAS), with 1,302.
The polling stations, which will be constituted in different centers and units of the UMU at 10:00 am, will be open for voting half an hour later, ending the voting at 6:30 p.m.
At the election of the rector, the candidacies led by professors Pablo Artal, José Antonio Gómez, Pedro Lozano, José Luján and Emilio Martínez have been presented.
The communication services of the University have transferred to the five the desire of the social communication media to be able to count on them in the convalescent building, seat of the Rectorate, after the scrutiny.
We will inform the media as soon as possible of the result of the management.
