The City Council has awarded the works of improvement of the pavement in the road of the Subida street to the Fuensanta de Algezares and paving with cobblestone of the entrance to the Viudes Park in the Juan Antonio Perea avenue of the Carmen district.
Likewise, the project and specifications have been approved for the paving of the road and sidewalks of Aguamarina street in El Palmar.
Thus, and in compliance with the request of the President of the Municipal Board of Algezares, the necessary works will be carried out to improve the pavement in the street Subida a la Fuensanta, providing safety to road users.
In addition, the horizontal and vertical signaling of the road will be replaced by the paving of the road section.
Likewise, the shape and transversal slope will be built to allow a correct runoff of the rainwater towards the existing scuppers.
The investment exceeds 10,000 euros and the works, which will be carried out by the company Hidráulica y Fraguados Oyco, will be extended for one month.
On the other hand, work will be undertaken to improve accessibility at the entrance to the Viudes Park.
In this green space, located on Juan Antonio Perea Avenue in the Carmen neighborhood, the current pavement consisting of asphalt agglomerate and its replacement with prefabricated concrete paving blocks will be demolished.
With these works a continuous cobbled platform will be built in the area that will give continuity to the pavement of the Viudes Park thus harmonizing the environment.
The City Council will invest in these works, which will run for a month, 17,256 euros
Finally the Aguamarina street of El Palmar is a one-way street, which on the right bank has a sidewalk that adjoins homes and on the left bank there is a parking lot in a row, with a sidewalk attached to the wall of the sports center.
Both the sidewalk and the road are deteriorated so it will proceed to agglomerate the street and pave the sidewalk, changing the trees and maintaining the parking and thus achieving a more secure pedestrian and vehicle circulation.
For this, 80,000 euros will be invested, with the three-month execution period.
