The spokesman of the municipal group of Cambiemos Murcia, Nacho Tornel, has denounced today that the City Council has not yet started the file to proceed with the payment of the payrolls from February to December 2017 owing to the workers of the Ramón Gaya Museum, nor has it paid the months of January and February of this year.
This contradicts the affirmations of the councilman of Modernization of the Administration, Jose Guillen, in the last Plenary Session, which assured the workers "will charge on February 25 both the month of January and the month of February and a few weeks later, once they have been given the orders so that the corresponding transfers are made and endow the items, will collect the arrears ".
Tornel explained that, to date, the municipal government has not started the file to pay the defaults of 2017, a process that is "quite long", so it is assumed that they will not charge for a long time and not as said the popular mayor.
This fact, in the words of Tornel, is "a further nonsense" that adds "to the history of poor management of the PP in relation to the workers of Ramón Gaya, plagued by unfulfilled promises and situations in which the will of the government team to solve the matter has been conspicuous by its absence ".
"It is paradoxical to check the solvency of the government team to finance shows on the street while the workers have to wait a year, the sentence of a judge and lack of interest to be able to receive their salary," he concluded.
