The Department of Modernization of the Administration and Urban Development, through the Service of Parks and Gardens, is working on the revision of the 26.5 kilometers of bike lane that connect Beniel with the Contraparada.
"What is done above all is a supervision of all those natural elements that make it difficult or bothers on a daily basis to Murcia who use this green area such as branches of trees, herbs or shrubs, among others," says the responsible mayor , José Guillén.
Some work carried out by a team of six people, every three months, using tools suitable for tasks of cutting and stripping these elements.
The route, of 26.5 kilometers, has been conditioned using blowers, brushcutters and various complementary elements, in order to eliminate the possible obstacles of the route that can hinder the progress of cyclists, runners or pedestrians.
In addition, different punctual actions are carried out in case of detecting any element that bothers or hinders the passage of people and cyclists.
