Pavilion 2 of the Artillery Barracks will return, starting next Friday, to be the cultural center of the Carmen neighborhood.
More than 20 artists will perform, starting at 7:00 pm, to celebrate the reopening of this installation, with theatrical performances throughout the afternoon, musical and artistic, and demonstrations of printmaking, comics, illustration ...
The opening act will be opened by the theater group Las Monstruas, which will offer a performance in which they will represent Jaime I (since the Artillery Barracks was formerly called Cuartel Jaime I el Conquistador), the painter José María Párraga (as a nod to the Centro Párraga ) and a music student (since the Conservatory is also located in the Cuartel).
Later, the exhibition 'Resurrection' will be inaugurated in which works by Cristóbal Hernandez Barbero, Carlos Pérez Armenteros, Cristina Ayuso, Dictinio De Castillo-Elejabeytia, Ester Travel, Eloy González will be shown.

There will also be storytellers by Conchi Pacheco and a recital by tenor Juan Gallego, while different artists will offer live demonstrations of engraving (Antonio Vidal), comics (Salva Espín) or sculpture (Alfredo Guillámón)
On the other hand, from Action Against Hunger they will explain what their workshops will consist of, Ana María Piñera and Eloy Gonzalez will talk about their watercolor and illustration exhibitions respectively and the film 'El misterio Picasso' will be screened.
The act will be closed by Krysis, Lost and Tolo Ortógrafo, who will offer a tribute rap to Pavilion 2.
