The room of degrees of the Faculty of Biology (Campus of Espinardo) will host next Friday, March 2, the first session of invited conferences of former students, which are framed within the Master's Degree in Bioinformatics.
The day will begin at 12 noon with the intervention of Natalia Castejón Fernández, secretary of the Association of Biotechnologists of Madrid.
Castejón, who is currently doing an industrial doctorate at the company Bioarray SL, will offer a talk entitled "Bioinformatics tools for preimplantation genetic diagnosis through mass sequencing."
Next, José González Gomariz, a predoctoral researcher at the Center for Applied Medical Research of Pamplona, ​​will give a lecture on "Signal processing of Chip-seq experiments, a new method based on wavelets".
As a closing session, there will be a debate between graduates and students of the master's degree.
