Next Saturday, March 3, from 10 am, will take place in Terra Natura the first race 'Running Natura Family' on the occasion of the celebration of Women's Day.
The event will have two delimited circuits, one for children and another for adults, in the facilities of the zoo with various obstacles: inflatable arches, monkey bridge, straw bales, intertwined ropes, tunnels, among others.
In addition, other activities such as crafts, karaoke, pedal car circuit, sweeper and Zumba classes will be held.
The Councilor for Modernization of the Administration and Urban Development, José Guillén, explained that "we continue to open the doors of this park by organizing activities, in this case sports, that suppose a greater attractiveness".
For its part, the councilor for Social Rights and Development Cooperation, Conchita Ruiz, has indicated that "this act is coupled with the intense programming that, from the City Council, we are organizing to recognize the figure of women in our society."
The Councilor for Sports and Health, Felipe Coello, stressed "to thank Terra Natura to incorporate as a circuit to our annual racing calendar thus promoting the family sport."
During the day five races will be held depending on the age of the participants, although the last one will be a family competition.
The prize for the winners will be two bathrooms with sea lions, and four in the case of the family race.
A detail will also be distributed to each one of the participants.
To participate, registration is required, of 7 euros for children and 11 for adults, on the website www.terranatura.com or at the zoo box office that will close next Friday, March 2 at 2:00 pm.
The bibs to compete will be collected the morning of the event from 9 o'clock at the summer school box office, which will be open until 1:00 p.m.
