The mayor Paqui Pérez refers to New Schools, the place where they meet some of the associations and groups of the district, as well as the Casino that, despite being private, receives help from the City Council
The mayor of Citizens Paqui Perez has demanded the councilor of Heritage, Rafa Gómez, who attends the requests for information that have been formulated -both from the Municipal Group and by the president of the Board, Daniel Hernández- about the projects that this council will start "to end the situation of abandonment of several buildings in El Palmar that are necessary to recover so that residents have decent infrastructure and services."
Thus, Pérez has made reference to the emblematic New Schools building, "where demolitions are being carried out that keep the neighbors in suspense, as it is a space to which the Palmareños have a great affection, having trained many of them in their classrooms and agglutinate years of history and experiences ".
Regarding this issue, the headman of El Palmar requested last Monday the mayor of Patrimonio to explain why these demolition works were being carried out in the annexes to New Schools "to be able to clarify to the neighbors, very concerned, what is happening;
and if finally this space is going to be rehabilitated to house the library that the neighbors need, as has been demanded by Citizens ".
Other buildings on which Ciudadanos has asked for explanations are the place where some of the associations and collectives of the parish meet, located next to the Local Police, which is literally falling apart;
as well as the Casino that, despite being private, receives help from the City Council and also houses other neighborhood organizations in El Palmar.
"These spaces can not remain abandoned to their fate, without any political leader of the PP explain, despite the requests, what will be done with them, especially taking into account the scarcity of services and infrastructure that the district has more inhabitants of the municipality ", has ended
