The rector of the University of Murcia (UMU), José Orihuela, has called on Monday to Cadena Ser to organize a live space to clarify what happened this morning in an information of the station about the news issued during the scheduled debate for this afternoon with the five candidates to succeed him.
In that meeting should participate the president of the UMU Debate Club, who has submitted his resignation after rectifying his first statements to the station, the journalist of the chain responsible for the aforementioned news and Orihuela itself.
The rector considers that the neutrality of the electoral process may have been violated, which he, as the maximum representative of the institution, is called to defend.
