The neighbors of the hamlet of Era Alta await the arrival of next Sunday 18 to begin the activities of Carnival 2018. The children's party with games, entertainment and gifts for all children, from 12 o'clock, will serve to give the kick-off to these parties.
A program presented this morning by the councilors of Culture, Jesus Pacheco, and Youth, Rebecca Perez, accompanied by members of the organization, young people between 16 and 25 years, who every year join efforts to ensure that during the coming days the music and color spread through all the streets of the district.
In addition, this year, like the previous one, the neighbors of Era Alta will have a carnival venue with approximately 2000 square meters with attractions, stage, tents, etc.
On this occasion the Carnival Queen 2018 is Carmen Martínez Martínez, (Aren Martz) singer, dancer and actress, being the Councilor for Youth and Development Cooperation of the City of Murcia, Rebeca Pérez, the forerunner of these festivities.
"We must praise the effort and dedication that a group of young people began to make a few years ago and has already become an example and model of work well done to make this Carnival is already a reference," said Rebeca Pérez during the presentation.
On Thursday 22 will be held a free ZUMBA Masterclass in the carnival grounds from 7 pm and Friday 23, one of the great days for the Eralteño carnival, will be held the 3rd Regional Contest of Choreographies of the Carnival of Era high with a total of 20 groups on stage.
It will start at 9pm at the Carnival venue.
And from 23: 30h will take place the 2nd Edition of "THE CARNIVAL SESSION ERA ALTA 2018" with José García Dj, Laser show and animation.
On Saturday the 24th, the big day of the Eralteño Carnival the activities will begin in the morning with the Carnavalera Day Fair, where you will enjoy free attractions for children, cover € 1, and the music of the Batucada Templum.
In the afternoon there will be a great procession of comparsas with a total of 28 groups parading down the main avenue of the district.
All the processions that parade will arrive from several points of the Region.
At the end of the parade you can enjoy the update of the New Tropical orchestra, after which the prequel Rebeca Pérez will offer attendees the proclamation of the Carnival of Era alta, a few words with which this party ends, along with the delivery of awards.
"We encourage all Murcia to come to know the Carnival of Era Alta, to enjoy the party in its streets, the welcome of its neighbors and the originality of the costumes and parades that will parade during the afternoon and evening of the day 24 ", concluded Jesús Pacheco.
