The University of Murcia (UMU) and the city council of Cieza will collaborate in the organization and promotion of volunteer activities, as stated in the agreement that has been signed in the convalescent building, headquarters of the Rectorate.

The agreement is similar to those that have recently been signed with other municipalities in the region and various institutions and are driven by the vice-rector of Students, Internationalization and Sports, Carmen Ferrándiz.

The agreement has been signed by the rector of the UMU, José Orihuela, and the mayor of Cieza, Pascual Lucas.
