The mayor Paqui Perez regrets that the PP and the PSOE are shielding each other in order not to improve citizen participation and the functioning of the Municipal Boards
The councilor of the orange training Paqui Perez has demanded today advances in the modification of the regulation of Citizen Participation "if we really want to improve the functioning of the Municipal Boards and that these are more agile and effective before the end of the mandate".
In this sense, Perez has lamented that "both the PP and the PSOE continue hiding each other in order not to advance the regulation and achieve that the districts of the municipality of Murcia become an effective tool at the service of their neighbors."
Thus, he recalled that "it was in December of 2017 when the Socialist Group, which chairs the Special Committee on Strategies of Social Recovery, Integration and Citizen Participation, committed to advance in the revision of the Citizen Participation regulations, but at this point we continue unemployed".
For this reason, the mayor of Ciudadanos has called for the immediate convocation of this commission to get us to work seriously as soon as possible because "we have little time for the end of the mandate."
"Either we accelerate the work or we will not achieve the goal we set ourselves in 2015, which will mean a political failure for this municipality on the part of all the councilors that form this corporation."
"In Cs we have already started a round of contacts with the associations and collectives of the municipality to collect their contributions for the modification of the Citizen Participation regulations," said Pérez, who has insisted on this goal since "we talk about the column vertebral of the operation of our districts and districts, a very serious subject on which we have the duty to advance yes or yes ".
