Murcia change has reported that the Governing Board of the City has approved at its meeting today the regulatory basis for the grant of this year's subsidies for the promotion of citizen participation in the municipality, for an amount of 225,000 euros for districts and 45,000 for neighborhoods.
With this decision, "the Consistory is ignoring the requests of various boards to convene grants in their respective districts, as is the case of Los Dolores, San Ginés and San Pío X", has sustained the vowel of the training in that last neighborhood, John David Babyack, after demanding that the bases be left without effect in order to be able to include the neighborhoods and districts that intend to call for grants this 2018.
Babyack has denounced the "new turn of the screw to the municipal boards" by the PP, and specifically by the mayor of decentralization, Jose Guillen, who said that with this attitude "shows their incompetence to coordinate the 65 meetings with what the municipality has ".
"While Guillen did not care to leave all the meetings without being able to call subsidies in 2017, this year he calls them without consulting them." The Department of Decentralization is too big and it is the residents of the districts who pay the consequences " , Babyack assured.
