Murcia change has demanded today, through a communication addressed to the Government delegate, the mayor and the councilor of Urbanism, which, immediately, paralyze the works of installation of the catwalk at the level of Santiago el Mayor.
The councilman of the training Sergio Ramos, who has moved to that place, has indicated that he has "serious doubts" that the works, which have begun without having previously warned the neighbors, thus contradicting what was agreed in the Last Monitoring Commission of the works of the AVE, have the necessary permission from the City Council to be on municipal land, although this "has not hesitated to send local police officers to the area."
"It is a nonsense what they are doing, without counting the citizens who will be affected by an infrastructure that on numerous occasions they have rejected," said Ramos, who has been able to verify in situ the indignation of the neighbors.
Cambiamos Murcia has asked if the works have the appropriate authorization and if there is a safety project for the catwalk, since it is being installed on the sidewalk without first analyzing the consequences of the infrastructure.
Ramos has indicated that this is another example of the intention of the municipal government because the AVE passes through the municipality on the surface, without paying attention to the important effects it will have on the population or listening to the demands of citizens.
