Jesús Fidel González Rouco, professor of the Department of Astrophysics and Atmospheric Sciences of the Complutense University of Madrid, will deliver on Wednesday, February 7, a conference entitled "Climate change: science, irreversibility and commitment".
It will be at the Hermenegildo Lumeras Assembly Hall, Faculty of Biology of the University of Murcia (Espinardo Campus) at 12 noon.
González Rouco has researched on paleoclimatic simulation and reconstruction of the last millennia and regional climatic modernization.
He is a member of the Panel of Experts on Climate Change.
According to the organizers of this event, despite the complexity of the issue of climate change, the scientific community agrees on one thing: there is no reasonable doubt about the influence of human activity on the climate of the planet.
The conference is part of the cycle "An education for the 21st century: looks from the sciences and the arts" held at the University of Murcia.
