The Governing Board of the City of Murcia has approved the call for a contest for the selection and recruitment in training of 40 student-workers for the project PMEF-JV and 38 for the project PMEF-MY and the application to the Employment and Training Service of four candidates for each of the positions.
The objective of this call is to influence the improvement of the employment situation of young people on the one hand, and the qualification of unemployed between 25 and 54 years, on the other.
These projects, which last a year, are divided into two phases: a 3-month training phase and a 9-year training program that alternates training with professional practice, where students sign a training and learning contract with the city council.
The first of these PMEF-JV projects, taught in the 'Aulario FICA III', is intended for 40 young people under 25 years old and will train student-workers in areas such as masonry, continuous lining under construction, plumbing and domestic heating, electricity Low voltage and carpentry.
For this, the Employment and Training Service has granted more than 450,000 euros.
On the other hand, the PMEF-MY project, which takes place in the 'Palmar Gastro-Turismo V', will reclassify unemployed people between 25 and 54 years old to improve their employability.
In this case, the game is over 550,000 euros and will serve to train a group of 38 people in the field of hospitality and tourism, specialties such as cooking, bar and cafeteria services and basic operations in flats and accommodation.
