Eight research projects throughout Spain will have the opportunity to be exposed from October 2018 for a year at the National Museum of Science and Technology (MUNCYT), located in A Coruña.

Investigate in the University ', a contest called to publicize the important research that is taking place in the different Spanish universities.
Divided into four major areas such as 'Origin of humanity', 'Scientific and technological advances', 'Challenges of the future' and 'Social challenges', this exhibition will select two finalists from each branch derived from research, ongoing or completed, of the participating groups.
Among the aspects that the committee will value, special emphasis will be placed on the expressive and didactic value of the pieces and their adaptation to a heterogeneous audience, suitable for assistants of different ages and with special cognitive or intellectual abilities.
It will also take into account, as far as possible, that there is a territorial balance between the initiatives chosen.
At the University of Murcia, its Scientific Culture Unit, which is part of the CULTI + D + i-Divulga Divulgation and Scientific Culture Working Group, will be responsible for selecting the projects that represent the institution at the national level.
Each university may submit a maximum of four applications.
Then, a committee, composed of three representatives of the Divulga Network of Crue Universidades Españolas and three of MUNCYT-FECYT, will choose the projects that will arrive at the museum.

The members of the Unit of Scientific Culture (UCC) of the UMU will be responsible for choosing, among all the applications submitted, the four projects that will represent the institution in the final phase.
The resolution of the selected projects will be made public as of April 1, 2018. From that moment, the eight projects that will be exhibited at the MUNCYT will begin with the preparation of all the materials necessary for the exhibition with the help of the financing entity.
Universities that have already exhibited a project in the competition during the 1st edition of 'Campus Vivo', that is, Oviedo, Vigo, Carlos III, Cantabria, Madrid Polytechnic, Castilla La Mancha and Vic-Central de Madrid, are excluded from this participation. Catalonia.
MUNCYT, managed by the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT), preserves a collection of more than 18,000 pieces of scientific and technological historical heritage, having elements belonging to the Royal Mathematical Academy, created by Philip II in 1582. Its headquarters in A Coruña houses more than 600 pieces with the aim of being the showcase of Spanish sciences and technologies and contributing to a quality scientific education.
