The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia has developed an investigation to locate and arrest the author of numerous telephone calls of sexual nature to a neighbor of Murcia, which has culminated with the arrest of a young man as alleged perpetrator of the ongoing crimes of threats and coercions
A woman, the owner of the telephone line from which the calls were made, has been investigated.
The investigation began after the complaint filed by a neighbor of Murcia for alleged phone calls, in which, insistently and continuously, the interlocutor addressed her with phrases of high sexual content, even threatening to sexually assault her.
He let her know that he was watching her
According to the victim, this person modified the voice with the supposed intention of not being identified, made the calls even at dawn and, on occasion, let him know that he was aware of the places where he was (leaving work, shopping , etc...).
The Civil Guard, in view of these alleged surveillance, arranged a series of services aimed at the protection of the victim, as well as the location of the suspect who, although they did not allow their identification, discarded that he resided outside the municipality, that he maintained an iron control of his schedules of entrance and exit to his place of work, as well as of the places to which he went in his time of leisure, which was referred in his continuous calls.
Once the necessary information was obtained, the investigators requested the judicial authority to release the appropriate order to the telephone company, to obtain the telephone list of incoming calls to the terminal of the victim, on the dates and time slots investigated.
The detailed and exhaustive study of these records has made it possible to identify the owner of the terminal, a middle-aged woman, who once required by the investigators to identify the person who habitually used the telephone, has informed that it is about his son, 19 years old.
The owner of the telephone line has been investigated for the alleged commission of enlightened crimes.
The investigation has culminated in the arrest of a young man who is allegedly responsible for the ongoing crimes of threats and coercion.
The arrested and the proceedings ordered have been placed at the disposal of the Court of Instruction of Murcia, issuing precautionary measures of restraining order and prohibition of communication with the victim.
