José Ballesta: "You form an elite body that demands the highest dedication and commitment of public service"

The mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, together with the councilors of Modernization of the Administration, Urban Quality and Participation, José Guillén, and of Traffic, Security and Citizen Protection, Lola Sánchez, today presided over the appointment as career officers of three sergeants and eight corporals of the Service of Fire and Rescue Extinction (SEIS) of Murcia.

The professionals of the Fire Department, who have taken office in the Plenary Hall accompanied by their relatives, have sworn or promised their taking of possession, obtained through the corresponding competition and the internal promotion system.

The mayor acknowledged the work of these professionals: "Form an elite body that requires the highest dedication, not only from the point of view of physical preparation but also of technical training.

You are the vanguard and I want to thank you for the work that you develop seven days a week, 365 days a year, "he said.
