The Councilor for Traffic, Security and Citizen Protection, Lola Sanchez, responds to Now Murcia that Local Police provides a close and effective services both in the center and in the districts of the municipality
The Councilor for Traffic, Security and Citizen Protection, Lola Sanchez, answered this afternoon the words of Alicia Morales, a spokeswoman for Ahora Murcia, in which she demanded solutions to the problems of alleged insecurity in Aljucer.
Sánchez explained that "the Local Police Corps is organized to provide service throughout the municipality through a decentralized system that covers the different districts and neighborhoods of Murcia."
The councilor added that "the functions of prevention of citizen security are carried out in collaboration with the security forces of the State, National Police and Civil Guard that are competent in this matter and collect the complaints of criminal acts, managing the statistics about them ".
"That is why where the Local Police is aware of the increase in infractions, the services provided to the residents of the city and its districts are increased", concluded Lola Sánchez.
