Javier Vallaure de Acha, consul general of Spain in Los Angeles and honorary professor of Foreign Policy and Diplomacy of the Catholic University of Murcia, has highlighted today in the UCAM the impressive rates of growth of the USA during this last year
Vallaure has given a lecture today in the Master of European Studies of the UCAM, title in English directed by Pablo Blesa, dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Communication.
Prior to his speech, the diplomat, and before the questions of journalists, has made an assessment on the first year of Donald Trump's term: "The counterpowers in the US are so important that they have managed to balance their decisions in the Administration of that country ", he assured, highlighting among them the Congress, the Senate," powerful media "or civil rights associations.
Regarding the economic situation of the US, it has stated that it has impressive growth rates, with large investments in the public sector that are reactivating the economy.
"The year is not being so bad, it can be from the point of view of public opinion, but not from the point of view of the economy, and the engine that launches the country."
