The restitution of this element that is part of the historical heritage of the neighborhood has been possible thanks to the active participation of residents in the DNA Urban project of the City of Murcia.

The idea was proposed by a neighbor in the public presentation of the project and, after this, was located to the neighbor José Sánchez, who was guarding the plaque that was removed due to the construction of a new building.
This plaque commemorates the entry of Jaime I to Murcia in the year 1266 through this city gate.
