The Councilor for Modernization, Urban Quality and Participation, José Guillén, accompanied by municipal technicians and the STV concessionary company and representatives of the Municipal Board, has visited El Palmar and continues its tour through the districts of Murcia to see first-hand the needs of its green areas.
One of the first measures that will be carried out to improve these spaces will be to place a microperforated awning, which lets light but not heat, in the new circular children's games in the José María Párraga square.
"What we seek above all is the use of these modern playgrounds that we have installed, and that can be used without worrying about excessive heat," explains the mayor of Modernization, José Guillén.
During the visit it was also noted the need to place Seville in one of the areas of this square, José María Párraga, so that the little ones can play more comfortably and improve the current image.
However, the biggest transformation will take place in the Garden of the Avenida de la Paz, where an improvement project is planned that will entail the paving of a central corridor that will allow the best traffic inside the garden.
Likewise, different species such as tipuanas and jacarandas will be placed, which will allow to increase the current shade areas and a greater usability of this green space.
Also, will be carried out, explained Guillén, the placement of a wooden perimeter fence that will delimit the area of the garden of the road, focused primarily on providing this green space with greater security for the little ones.
