The Department of Modernization of the Administration, Urban Quality and Participation, directed by José Guillén, will begin work on the reform of the median of Primero de Mayo Avenue on Monday.
What is intended is to improve the visibility in the area and the aesthetics of this road.
Thus, the 30 existing brachichitos will be pruned and transplanted, which will be transferred to the municipal nurseries of Mayayo to subsequently carry out seasonal flower plantings and a low height hedge.
For the development of the works, which will begin on Monday around the river, it will be necessary to restrict, for safety, the circulation in the lanes closest to the median.
Guillén explained that "we continue carrying out certain actions that improve the green spaces of the municipality and the quality of life of Murcia."
