The Training for Employment Program, corresponding to this year and which has been approved today in the Government Board, will offer a total of 16 training actions, including 11 certificates of professionalism in which about 250 people will participate.
The objective is that the students, mainly unemployed people of the municipality of Murcia, obtain the personal and professional skills necessary for their insertion in the labor market.
The program, which will begin on February 19, has a global grant from the Subdirectorate General for Employment and Training of the CARM of 436,055 euros and will have different courses.
Thus, young people enrolled in the National Juvenile Guarantee System will have access to the training activity of Basic Operations of the Restaurant, which will be taught at the School of Hospitality (CFIE el Palmar), and Lifeguarding of Aquatic Facilities, in collaboration with the Department of Sports and that will be taught at the Local Development Agency and municipal sports facilities.
The Training Project for over 45 years of long-term unemployed, includes training in a professional certificate of basic kitchen operations, a job search workshop and individualized tutoring to facilitate employment.
It will be held at the CFIE of El Palmar.
On the other hand, in the Training Project for unemployed people belonging to groups at risk of social exclusion, literacy classes in Spanish will be taught to immigrants and a skills workshop for employment.
It will be held in Alquerías, in the Resource Center.
Regarding training actions for the unemployed, Certificates of Professionalism of Physical Fitness are offered in the Multipurpose Training Room, in collaboration with the Department of Sports, which will be taught in the Local Development Agency and in municipal sports facilities.
To this will be added the courses of Vehicle Painting, Organic Farming and Restaurant and Kitchen Services, which will be taught at the Palmar Training Center.
Finally, the training actions for unemployed in basic skills, will include Spanish Language Level 2, Mathematics Level 2, Spanish Language level 3 and Mathematics Level 3, which will be taught in the Alquerías Resource Center and the Local Development Agency.
In addition, and in collaboration with the company Expall Propellant, 15 unemployed people will be trained as operators of propulsive manufacturing in Javalí Viejo, contracting 60% of the students who pass the training program.
