The professor affirms that, "especially in those courses that are very numerous, teachers often have the dilemma of how many photocopies of the exam to perform".
According to the experience of Fuentes Melero, in previous courses he has found a good number of photocopies that "have not been used because the attendance of students to the exam has been quite less than expected".
To try to avoid the unnecessary consumption of paper and adjust it to what is strictly necessary as far as possible, the teacher has used the Virtual Classroom of the UMU, specifically the group information tool, creating one for each test entitled exam attendance.
Each student enrolled in his subject receives the message in his e-mail, indicating those who have thought to go to the exam.
This allows you to predict in a very approximate way the number of students that will be presented.
"Everything is to avoid wasting paper," says Melero sources.
