From the Rector of the University of Murcia, we want to make public the satisfaction of the recent ruling that dismisses the complaint presented by the UCAM against the former Director General of Cultural Property María Comas Gabarrón and five technicians of the Historical Heritage Service.
The officials already said in a public act loud and clear to society, that they have served and serve in the Regional Public Function with the utmost respect for the law, and now this sentence endorses their actions.
Last July, the University Foundation San Antonio de Murcia-UCAM, filed a complaint accusing the aforementioned workers of crimes of continued prevarication.
The judgment made public gives as unfounded such claims, qualifying them as mere invention.
The judge's ruling qualifies the accusation of prevarication by the complainants as "an unsustainable plan that demonstrates the purely artificial creation of the complaint."
From the Rector of the UMU we want to make public the satisfaction for a sentence that highlights the professionalism and the right behavior of these public workers, who veiled in all their actions for the strict compliance with the norm, defending that the construction of various works in 135,000 meters of land in the vicinity of the UCAM, were contravenían with the need to preserve the absence of visual screen that affect landscape to the Jerónimos Monastery, place where the campus of the aforementioned private university is located.
The fact that the truth shines is always a source of joy, but even more so when this truth supposes the exoneration of all guilt towards workers who serve the Public Function and the recognition of their professionalism and honesty in their work of acting always in the exercise of their functions, in defense of the Law, rejecting any pressure that tries to divert them from the mission that society has entrusted to them.
