The Councilor for Youth and Development Cooperation of the City of Murcia, Rebeca Pérez, this morning presented the feature film "Where the forest is thick", a fusion of film and theater based on the work of the same title, whose text and representation corresponds to one of the best companies in the country, Micomicón.

The production of the film has been done by Salto de Eje PC and Twin Freaks Studio, a young Murcian production company that focuses on quality films and films, directed by young people Juan Poveda and Pedro Poveda.
These are the winners of the CreaMurcia Contest in the 2011 and 2012 editions in the category of short films and documentaries for the works 'Forasteros' and 'Green Love'.
"This work is a reinforcement to the bet we must do for the young Murcia creators, who have already made clear their good work in the shorts and feature films they have presented, as well as the collaborations they have made with the City of Murcia", has highlighted the councilor.
The play has been supported by the European program UNREST, and this film that we present to you is having the reactions that we have always been waiting for since the beginning of this project, the quality of everything that surrounds it, the difficult but exciting challenge of taking it to from a formal and experimental essay that fuses cinema and theater.
2018 will be the definitive year for its release in the halls / tvs / vod both national with La Luna de TanTan distributor, and international, due to its European origin.
To emphasize that precisely because of its European support, it is already running with great success different European universities.
It is a fusion of cinema and theater based on the work of the same title, in which from a risky and original formal proposal, the creative process and the work as such is shown, which speaks of the story of Antonia and Isabel who receive the day of the death of his mother a closed box that the deceased had kept for years and whose existence they did not know.
This box contains a series of elements that come to question everything that Antonia believed about her family.
Isabel refuses to look and does not ask questions.
Antonia and her daughter Ana do, chasing the ghost of a grandfather and a great-grandfather who does not seem to be the one they believed.
All this to the chagrin of Zoran, his patient and attentive Yugoslav husband and father.
And so mother and daughter will embark on a real and physical journey that will end in Banja Luka, in the distant Yugoslavia.
The return to Spain will be the victory of two women who come loaded with bad news, irreparable pain and a knowledge of the people around them that will make their lives no longer the same.
