Murcia Sports Club Wheelchair Basketball and San Antonio Catholic University have signed an alliance for the Murcia team to become part of the teams sponsored by 'the University of Sports', now renamed UCAM Murcia BSR .
Alberto Carrión and Sonia Ruiz, both founders of the entity, launched the club in December 2015 with the aim of working for people with disabilities from a sports and training project, which worked the quarry but also competed to go climbing positions to Nacional level.
Competitive ambition and social commitment are the two premises of a club that is now integrated into the UCAM sports family as a sponsored team, thereby achieving the visibility that it grants to be covered by the UCAM Murcia CB of the Endesa League.
This event will materialize soon in a local match for the Ibon Navarro team.
The UCAM Murcia BSR competes in the Second National Division, occupying the second place with five victories and one defeat.
Its staff is composed of men and women and a mixture of veteran and youth in which adds the experience and the illusion to add victories.
