This year, the students of Bachillerato and second cycle of FP of Higher Degree can participate in nine different categories and the best grades will be awarded with scholarships for the degrees of the UCAM, Tablets, Sportcam cameras and sports equipment

The San Antonio Catholic University has just opened the registration period so that students of 1st and 2nd year of Bachiller or last year of Vocational Training of Higher Degree of the educational centers of the Region of Murcia can participate on February 7 in the Scientific Olympics held at its Los Jerónimos campus, thanks to the co-financing of the Seneca Foundation.

Interested students can participate in 9 categories: Civil Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, CAFD, Architecture and Building Engineering, Pharmacy, Nursing, Food and Physiotherapy.

For each of the categories there will be three prizes that will be delivered on March 16 at the Jerónimos Campus.

The first classified will receive the free registration of the first course of the University Degree related to the selected Olympiad and a Tablet;

the second classified 50% of the enrollment of the first year of said degree and one SportCam;

the third classified 25% of the enrollment of the first course of the race related to the area in which he has made the tests of the competition.

The UCAM will facilitate the displacement in buses to the students of the educational centers of all the Region that inscribe through http://olimpiadascientificas.ucam.edu, before the 31 of January.

If you attend by private vehicle, you can register until February 5.

In this way, the UCAM, through the Unit of Scientific Culture and Research of the Catholic University (UCC + i), framed in the Vice-Rectorate of Research, and the Seneca Foundation-Agency of Science and Technology of the Region of Murcia, dependent on the Ministry of Universities of the Autonomous Community, want to promote the scientific spirit among young people in the Region.

The event will be held on February 7, all day, at the Jerónimos Campus in Murcia.

The next day, the first Scientific Olympics organized in the Campus of Dolores in Cartagena will be held, where participants can choose between the disciplines of Sports, Physiotherapy and Nursing.
