The councilor of Development, Roque Ortiz, has asked "the members of Huermur not to worry because the excavation of Madre de Dios Street has the supervision of a team of archaeologists who know much more than they heritage."
"That they do not give lessons when this Team of Government is doing the greater action in recovery of the patrimony of the history of the municipality, that we carried out with a total and absolute transparency", according to the councilman
"The General Direction of Cultural Assets will be the one that determines if those remains found have interest or not and we will act according to their directives", explained Ortiz.
On the first ditch made in the street Madre de Dios, the councilor explained that "pipes and wiring of different services were found so we had to find a new location."
Ortiz has asked the members of Huermur to "calm down and not oppose everything that means improvements for Murcia before it is found that the remains must be preserved and that they do not distort, manipulate and sow doubts when acting of the City Council is the correct one ".
