The Santa Quiteria Palace will be dressed with works of 14 artists on the heritage, on the occasion of the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018.
Next Saturday, January 13, those who visit the Plaza de Santa Eulalia, from 12 a.m. to 6 p.m., will be able to see live as Marcos Amorós, María José Caride, Jesús Inglés, Alfredo López, Javier Lorente, Miriam Martínez Abellán, José Miguel Marín Guevara , Carlos Montero, José Manuel Peñalver, Antonio Sánchez, Salvador Torres, Cristóbal Pérez "Toval", Manuel Vacas and Silvia Viñao carry out their work.
Once finished, there will be a reproduction of the paintings that will be part of the exhibition that will open on Wednesday, January 24.
The Councilor for Employment, Tourism and Culture, Jesús Pacheco, explained that "the objectives of the European Year are to promote the exchange and appreciation of Europe's cultural heritage as a shared resource, to raise awareness about history and common values ​​and to reinforce a feeling of belonging to a common European space, for which the Murcia City Council, through one of its most innovative exhibition spaces, the facade of the Santa Quiteria Palace, and within the ADN Urbano project carried out in the central neighborhood of Santa Eulalia, has decided to start the acts of commemoration of this European Year with an exhibition of 14 artists from the Region of Murcia "
"A neighborhood like Santa Eulalia where tradition and modernity coexist, a meeting point for students of the European Erasmus program and, in general, a lively neighborhood with deep-rooted identity, is the ideal place to start this year European ", indicated Pacheco.
