The SEMAS professionals started their outings on November 29, 2017 and distributed food, hot drinks, blankets and sleeping bags. On the night of yesterday, six assists and two transfers were made to spend the night at the RAIS Foundation Night Center.
The Emergency Mobile Service and Social Care, dependent on the Department of Social Rights of the City of Murcia, has attended since last November 27 to 50 people in the framework of the outputs made during the nights in which temperatures are recorded more low.
Of these, 45 are men, while 5 have been women.
In particular, the actions with homeless people at night in what is known as "Cold Operation" 2017-18 have allowed to serve people of nine nationalities who were on the street in different parts of the municipality.
In the care provided, in addition to providing information and guidance on the aid they can receive, 24 sleeping bags, 12 blankets were delivered and three transfers were made to spend the night in the RAIS Foundation Night Center.
The last departures of the SEMAS professionals have been made during the evenings of this week, in which the temperatures have descended of remarkable form, touching the 0 degrees and supposing a situation of risk for the health of the homeless people that sleep in the street.
