The Minister of Education, Youth and Sports, Adela Martínez-Chachá, met today with the general director of the Albores Association of Murcia, Rafael Llora, to study new ways of collaboration and analyze the development and results of the actions that both entities perform together.
The Ministry and the Albores Association of Murcia signed an agreement last year to use the health center of the association to conduct educational home support to students with serious behavioral and mental health problems treated in a hospitalization day or full hospitalization.
Thus, educational attention is guaranteed to these students who are not in their homes because they are receiving psychotherapeutic treatments.
The agreement with the Association Albores de Murcia joins the agreements within this same area with the Adanes Association and with the ST3 Foundation.
The educational home care aims to ensure the continuity of the teaching and learning process of convalescent students, avoiding the possible school mismatch that may arise from their situation;
prevent the isolation that could occur in the student, creating for it a climate of participation and interaction with the educational community;
and facilitate the reincorporation of the students to their center, once the period of convalescence has ended, favoring their socio-emotional and school integration.
