The mayor Carlos Peñafiel asks José Ballesta to take immediate measures adjusted to the law and solve the situation of workers who have been working for 11 months without charge
The municipal group Citizens has demanded today the president of the Patronato Ramón Gaya, the Mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta;
and its delegate, Councilman Jesús Pacheco, the extraordinary and urgent convocation of the Board to mark a road map and address the situation of the workers of the Ramón Gaya Museum after the opinion of the Legal Council of the Region of Murcia.
As the opinion suggests - that the orange formation has met through the media - it is the Board that must absorb the Ramón Gaya workers who have been without charge since last February.
For the mayor Carlos Peñafiel, currently board member of the Board, "the ruling clearly indicates the irregular status of the workers and the negligence with which the municipal government has acted throughout this time."
Therefore, Peñafiel has demanded that José Ballesta "adopt immediate measures that comply with the law and solve, once and for all, the situation of Ramón Gaya workers who have been working for 11 months without being paid".
In addition, the councilor of Cs has asked the Board to clarify the reasons why the media have the opinion of the Legal Council before the directors themselves, a situation that Peñafiel has described as "disloyal to the institution they represent and lack of all diligence. "
