The Municipal Socialist Group requires the government team, the PP, the urgent convocation of a plenary session for the workers of the Ramón Gaya Museum to collect their payroll as soon as possible.
The councilor Begoña García Retegui even claims that the Plenary will be held in the coming days so that this template can be updated in their rewards and remember that they have almost all the year in white by not charging since the beginning of this 2017.
Therefore, the councilor considers urgent the removal of the repair for the subrogation of the workers in order to collect and update their Social Security contributions because they have been developing their work throughout the year, which has allowed that the Museum remains open.
Likewise, García Retegui has referred to the report of the Legal Council, issued yesterday, which "has fully endorsed the position that the Socialist Group has maintained regarding the subrogation as non-permanent workers of the City Council and the call for places, the same position as we defend with other employees in a situation of illegal assignment, such as Statistical workers ".
Also, he stressed that the Legal Council "give a wrench to the City Council for his unprofessional attitude, which we have criticized and constantly denounced, because to act with more courage would not have produced this grotesque situation."
Finally, the councilor regrets "this explosion of labor disputes that are bursting at the City Council in recent weeks for its disastrous and unjustified way of acting" and cites, in addition to the case of the workers of the Ramón Gaya Museum and the Statistics, Museum of the City and Maintenance of Public Lighting.
