The City of Murcia, through the Department of Modernization, Urban Quality and Participation, directed by José Guillén, continues working on the care and maintenance of the different gardens and green areas of the municipality.
In the garden of the Silk is going to make "an improvement demanded by the neighbors and that we consider essential as it is the uniformity of albero of some of its roads, a visual improvement with a more yellow tone than the preexisting one and especially with the placement of a Seville-type albero like the one used in the bullring ", explains Councilman Guillen.
To carry out these works it is necessary to carry out a 'cajeo' in which some ditches are created lateral to the road to remove a part of the previous layer of soft pavement and to place a new uniform and compact one that will be perfectly aligned with the existing one on both sides of the road
"What is achieved is that there is not the slightest step between the sides and the road and that the water flows to its spillways to avoid problems of stagnation," says Guillén.
These tasks are being carried out for three weeks by a team of three people, together with an excavating machine, and they seek to restore the original appearance to dirt roads that suffer intense daily wear and tear on people.
