The Governing Board gave its approval to the award of various works that will allow the improvement of green areas in Beniaján, Monteagudo and Cobatillas.
In the Monteazahar Garden of Beniaján and to guarantee the safety of pedestrians, the cobblestone pavement will be completely renewed, improving accessibility and decoration.
On the other hand, it will improve the aesthetics and accessibility of the existing scenario.
The works in the garden will consist in the complete renovation of the pavements, previously demolishing all the curbs and part of the existing concrete slab.
In addition, they will renew and extend the areas of stay, the areas of surplus and revegetara and reforestará the garden, will be placed lawn on the parterres, banks and urban furniture will be renewed, giving the garden a more modern look and eliminating all risk of falling.
For the improvement of the stage, the front of the existing wall will be covered with corten steel sheet, which at the same time will be illuminated.
Other gardening activities will consist of the adaptation of gravel beaches delimited with corten steel sheet.
The works will be developed by Eneas Servicios Integrales, with an investment of 97,734.17 euros and within a period of three months.
Regarding the works in the garden next to the Avenida Constitución de Monteagudo, they will consist of the renewal of the cobblestone paving providing the area with greater accessibility for pedestrians.
Likewise, the aesthetics of said space will be improved by eliminating architectural barriers as demanded by the neighbors and pruning and mowing tasks will be carried out for a conditioning of the vegetal structure.
Once the land has been conditioned, paving with prefabricated paving stones will be carried out and work benches will be made to sit, covered with synthetic flooring.
It will also be necessary to relocate facilities, such as lighting, sanitation and supply.
Finally, there will be a replenishment of the irrigation network, replanting of grass and new planting of shrubs and trees that generate a plant barrier separating the green zone from the next road
The works will be executed by Eneas Servicios Integrales for 54,419.90 euros and within a period of 3 months.
Likewise, the garden next to the San Roque de Cobatillas avenue will become a complete and modern green area, creating several leisure spaces in Cobatillas: one for canine recreation and another with wood stoves for the promotion of coexistence.
The decoration of the existing garden is also improved, giving it a fountain that at the same time serves as a bench for resting and enjoying the scenery
The works to be carried out will consist of three actions.
On the one hand, an area for barbecues will be created in a space paved with decorative marked concrete that will have three barbecues, with three equipped tables and benches.
To provide them with plant shade, trees will be planted around them.
On the other hand, a canine recreation zone, fenced and equipped with elements for canine exercise, will be installed, while some benches will be placed for the rest of the users and trees to provide vegetal shade.
Finally, a source of exposed concrete will be built that will generate a sheet of water to cool the area.
These works will be developed by Mamcomur, with an investment of 42,999.59 euros and within three months.
