The Municipal Socialist Group, Citizens, Now Murcia and Murcia Change have informed today of the urgency motion that will defend tomorrow in the Plenary to demand the government team to establish a single criterion to solve the illegal cession of workers in the City of Murcia.
The four groups have accompanied the nine workers of the Statistical Service dismissed by the City Council after they have been recognized as an illegal cession.
This new case with the statistics workers is added to the situation experienced by the employees of the Ramón Gaya and Science museums, the City Museum and cultural centers, which have received different solutions: subrogations without waiting for sentences, as is the case of Gaya, dismissal despite the judicial recognition of the illegal assignment, as in the case of Statistical workers, when the common denominator, in all cases, is the existence of illegality on the part of the municipality, with the illegal assignment of female workers and workers.
The consequence of this "very serious" situation of illegal cession and fraud in the contracting and execution of municipal contracts, which is taking place in the PP in the City of Murcia for 20 years, and for which the opposition has been demanding from more than 2 a work table to clarify, quantify, avoid more extra costs and end illegalities has begun to explode.
The economic repercussion for the municipal coffers has not yet been quantified the sentences that are pending to leave and, as the workers have explained, in their case, if the judgments conclude that they should be readmitted the City Council should pay the payroll while they have been dismissals, also having to pay the staff that is currently providing the service.
For the opposition, it is as important to stop committing illegality by the City Council that, immediately after the resolution, the places are convened, always in accordance with the constitutional principles of equality, merit and ability and after the recovery of the benefit of the service by the City Council.
